Bio

Laneé Prentice serves as the director of people operations and employee experience for the VCU School of Education. 

In this role, Laneé is responsible for overseeing the human resources function for the School and leads the unit by embracing service excellence through human resource leadership, support, consultation and collaboration. 

Laneé has more than 25 years of experience in human resources leadership, organizational development, talent management, training and development, and organizational recruitment and retention. During her professional career, she has worked in the automotive manufacturing, retail and healthcare industries. Laneé's extensive experience building out essential HR functions and aligning goals with organizational strategy will greatly serve the School of Education.
